The Centre for Islamic Shi‘a Studies (CISS) would like to invite you to the first lecture of our Shi‘i Narratives of Formative Muslim History Seminar Series that is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 21 September 2011, 7.00pm at Brunei Gallery (SOAS). The lecture will be delivered by Professor Wilferd Madelung (Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Ismaili Studies) on the subject of ‘The Succession to Muhammad: Exploring Early Shi‘i Narratives of Caliphate and Imamate’.
